Her performance on Tablitas shows the worlds multiplicity, the universal and the perpetual circulation in natural stages from the seed over the earth, plant, blossom, insect, and the fruit to the clouds, rain and snow, sun and sky. It shows the whole spectrum for fertility as well as the harmony between earth and sky.
A Tablita is the traditional head dress of the pueblo Indians during their
ceremony dances, like the
Corn Dances. Theses Tablitas are flat rectangular wooden boards, decorated
with feathers, leather and woven fibers. The paintings represent the sky,
the terraces the mesas and the decorations prayers for rain.
